Perpetual Motion

David Harris Productions and RJE Productions LLC are proud to present the third recording of pianist David Harris and organist Jelani Eddington.  This recording features  David at the 9-foot, 6-inch Bösendorfer Imperial Grand Piano and Jelani at the 4-manual, 74-rank Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ in the "Cloud 99" music room in San Sylmar, Sylmar, California.

The Eddington-Harris "Dynamic Duo" exploded onto the national stage during four standing-room-only concerts for the 1999 regional convention of the American Theatre Organ Society in Wichita, Kansas.  Since that time, and in addition to their careers as solo musicians, Jelani and David have concertized together throughout the United States and Europe, presenting their inimitable organ and piano orchestrations to diverse audiences worldwide.

This album, released in November, 2004, was recorded at a venue known as "San Sylmar" located in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains in Sylmar, California.  "San Sylmar" is a six-story facility built to house J.B. Nethercutt's extensive automobile collection.  It also became the perfect place to display Mr. Nethercutt's instrument collection. The instruments were housed on the fourth floor of San Sylmar in a large music room known as "Cloud 99."  Today, this room offers one of the finest and most significant collections of music boxes, nickelodeons, player and reproducing pianos, musical watches and orchestrions anywhere in existence.
