Christmas
Wonderland
In
2001, David Harris and Jelani Eddington released their first collaborative recording effort,
Fascinating Rhythms!. This Dynamic Duo
returned two years later with their second joint recording, featuring the music of the holiday season in a Christmas album titled Christmas Wonderland.

This album, released
in November, 2003, was recorded at the Wheaton-Fox Studio in the residence of Paul & Linda Van Der Molen in Wheaton, Illinois. The instruments featured on the album include the beautifully restored 4-manual 26-rank Wonder Morton, a Steinway "Model D" 9' concert grand piano (once played and signed by no less than Van Cliburn himself), and a Mason & Hamlin "Model CC" 9' concert grand piano.
Several years ago, Paul & Linda Van Der Molen embarked on a major renovation of their home and enlarged their 3-manual, 20-rank Robert Morton into the 4-manual 26-rank instrument it is today. In the process, the Van Der Molens acquired one of the five so-called "Wonder Morton" consoles, which the Van Der Molens had painstakingly and beautifully restored.
Christmas
Wonderland CD was reviewed by Ralph Beaudry, Associate Editor, Theatre
